Many people avoid vinegar because they believe that adding more acid in their diet can make their acid reflux symptoms worse. But it may not be true. It is believed that the acid in vinegar can help moderate acid levels in the stomach, thus preventing acid reflux disease. Then, how can you use it for relief? The most common method is to dilute 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water. Drink it before every meal. But the effects of vinegar vary from person to person as people develop acid reflux for different reasons. So, work with your doctor to find the right combination to relieve your symptoms.   Keyword: vinegar acid reflux
