Clinical depression is the more-severe form of depression. It is also known as major depression or major depressive disorder. Signs of clinical depression may include:
  • Angry outbursts
  • Sadness and emptiness
  • Loss of interest in all normal activities
  • Decreased appetite
  • Lack of energy
  • Insomnia
  • Difficulty concentrating
