The BDA is the voice of people living with dyslexia. It aims to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society.
The BDA promotes early identification of specific learning difficulties. It tries to persuade schools to provide support for dyslexic students so that they also have the opportunity to learn.
Its 3 campaign areas:
- Bring down the number of dyslexic young people who commit crimes.
- Talk schools into becoming dyslexia-friendly.
- Help dyslexic people achieve their full potential in the workplace.
