If children have experienced or witnessed such events as violent crimes, physical abuses, sexual assaults, car crashes, natural disasters like earthquakes, floods and so on, they may be more prone to suffer from PTSD. Young children with PTSD may have delayed development in areas such as toilet training, motor skills, and language. For children 6 years old and younger, they will re-enact the traumatic events or parts of them through play, and have nightmares including or not including the traumatic events. PTSD may have a severe influence on children's future. As parents, it's urgent for us to take effective measures to treat PTSD and cure them with love and care. Keyword: ptsd children
