According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in 2017, there was an outbreak of measles in Minnesota. The first measles case occurred on April 10; and by May 31, 2017, there had been 65 measles cases.
The results of investigation shows that most cases of measles in this outbreak took place in individuals who had not been vaccinated.
There are two kinds of vaccine that can prevent measles, namely the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and the measles, mumps, rubella and varicella vaccine. Both of them are available to children.
