Subacromial bursitis is a type of shoulder bursitis, it is an inflammation of the subacromial bursa in your shoulder. Subacromial bursitis can cause intense pain in your shoulder that gets worse when you move. Injuries can cause damages to the bursa, overuse of shoulders can also cause damages. So people who have done a lot of overhead lifting and forceful pulling are at a higher risk of developing subacromial bursitis. If you have subacromial bursitis, you may notice shoulder pain, redness, swelling and stiffness. If the bursitis progressed into a relatively bad situation, it may be impossible for you to move your shoulder (Frozen Shoulder). Medicine like ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin can alleviate swelling and soreness. You can also turn to other treatment options for help, like ice therapy, physical therapies, etc. Keyword: subacromial bursitis
