Chronic idiopathic urticaria is a type of urticaria. For a small number of people, hives or urticaria come back again and again with no known cause. When new outbreaks happen almost every day for 6 weeks or more, it's called chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU). The exact causes of chronic idiopathic urticaria are still unknown, but several things can lead to flare-ups, which include:
  • Tight clothing
  • Exercise
  • Heat
  • Cold
  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) like aspirin and ibuprofen
  • Alcoholic drinks

I have a raised itchy rash on neck and leg behind knee
Could you please show us a picture of the rash? Without looking at the rash, it is really hard to give a suggestion. Otherwise, go to see a dermatologist.
