You may check first with your vet before administering a dog urinary tract infection treatment. Here below are some steps of a home remedy for your dog's case:

1. Add one teaspoon for small dogs or 1-2 tablespoons for big dogs of apple cider vinegar to your dog's water bowl.
2. Repeat it up to two times per day for up to seven to ten days, depending on the severity of your dog's UTI.
3. Keep your dog in access of water but do not feed it in 12 hours after the diarrhea.
4. Antibiotics like Cephalexin or Clavamox may be used, but this should be in recommended dose given by the vet.
