Amyopathic dermatomyositis is not only an autoimmune disease, but also a neoplastic connective issue disease.
It requires regular follow-up, comprehensive physical examination as well as laboratory and imaging examinations, in order to detect malignant tumors in the body at an early stage.
If dermatomyositis (DM) develops after 24 months of follow-up, it should be treated as DM.
If you are diagnosed to have a malignant tumor in your body, surgical resection may be recommended, and drugs like corticosteroids, antimalarials (hydroxychloroquine), immunosuppressive agents and so on are commonly used.
Please consult your doctor for accurate diagnosis and the most appropriate treatment.
