Q
:
Can diets affect the development of breast cancer?
A
:
Diet is always regarded as an essential part of breast cancer prevention. Unhealthy diet is thought to be thought to be responsible for approximately 30%-40% of all types of cancer. Also, it is less likely for those whose diet is plant-based and low in calorie to develop breast cancer. Obese, one of the risk factors of breast cancer, is caused by high-fat diets.
During breast cancer treatments, patients’ normal diet patterns can be affected and disrupted, which can cause the patients to either eat more or less than they usually do.
