Waranya Boonchai, M.D., from Mahidol University in Bangkok, published a study in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology about the moisturizer formulation that works effective for facial dermatitis. According to the study,  moisturizer containing 4-t-butylcyclohexanol (a sensitivity regulator) and licochalcone A (an anti-inflammatory agent from Glycyrrhiza inflata licorice plant) is used to compare with 0.02 percent triamcinolone acetonide (TA) , a wide used drug for treating facial dermatitis.
