If the food poisoning is caused by certain bacteria, viruses, or parasites, it is contagious.

It could be. For food poisoning caused by bacteria, the bacteria generally spread via the “fecal-oral route,” which is when trace amounts from one person’s feces end up in someone else’s mouth. Those poorly washed hands can contaminate a host of objects and surfaces, including light switches, doorknobs, and kitchen surfaces.

After eating a fast food burger I have had diarrhea, nausea, and weakness. It has been 4 days of this.  How can I know if it was the burger. Can it still be tested?
No. Testing at this time would not help much. Another critical information is whether consumers who also bought and ate the burgers at that store have had similar symptoms. If more than 3 persons had similar symptoms, food poisoning should be strongly suspected.
