Getting a facial in a spa is funny, but you can always get the same great results at home without spending any money. Just follow these simple steps:
Cleansing and exfoliating your face
Completely remove make-up and wash your face with gentle cleanser thoroughly. Warm water is the best choice for delicate facial skin and will help you get ready for the facial.
If your face doesn't look quite smooth or silky, it's probably because of the dead skin cells building up on it. Gently remove the dead skin with a facial scrub. Or, if you don't have one, try this simple recipe: a teaspoon sugar, a teaspoon honey and a teaspoon milk. Mix them up and rub away the dead cells with the mixture.
Rinse your face again and give yourself a massage
Always treat your face gently. Use a cotton pad or washcloth with warm water to remove the scrub from your eyes and nose. After washing your face again, pat it with a soft towel.
Give yourself a massage to increase facial circulation before moving to the next step.
A facial steam can draw dirt, oil and grime out of pores while make you relaxed. Heat some water - add some dried flowers, lemon slices or essential oil into the water if you like - steam your face for five minutes. Drape a towel over your head so that the steam has no other places to escape.
Use a facial mask
Use your favorite facial mask to draw out impurities from your skin. Apply the mask for 15 minutes. Rinse your face again and pat it dry.
