Recipe for a Richer and Healthier Chocolate Dessert

  • 3

I personally really enjoy a chocolate pudding after dinner, swiping out my tiredness of all day and refreshing me a lot. However homemade versions usually contain loads of sugar and little nutrition – not really good for health.

It's still possible to make a super chocolatey pudding with rich taste and nutrition though. When I saw this recipe, I thought I should share it to you all, especially those who enjoy chocolates just like me.

You should prepare

1 cup skim milk

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate morsels

1 avocado, diced

1 banana

1 cup berries of your choice (before serving)

Step 1: Mix milk, cocoa and cornstarch in a small saucepan, and whisk well to blend.

Step 2: Add the chocolate morsels.

Step 3: Place the saucepan over low-to-medium heat. Cook for about three minutes, whisking well, until chocolate is melted.

Step 4: Cool slightly.

Step 5: Place chocolate mixture, the avocado and the banana in a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 6: Spoon the mixture into serving cups or glasses, and cover with plastic wrap.

Step 7: Put them into the fridge. Refrigerate for at least three hours.

Step 8: Slice the berries and divide equally among the cups just before serving.

Step 9: Enjoy yourself!

It's smart to use avocado to replace cream.
Avocado is a smart fruit.
Looks delish! How many servings from this recipe please (assuming I don’t eat all at once)?
